Read / Write permissions per user
Our systems support the ability to 'jail' users into their own environment. This means they can only access files and folders within their own directory. You can enforce permissions such as only allowed certain users to download, locking untrusted users into their own home directory.
FTP client and web browser compatible
All our web interfaces have been built from scratch by our development team and are unique to iWeb. These have been rigeriously tested in all your favourite browsers such as Opera, Firefox and Internet Explorer to ensure smooth running.
We offer free 24/7 support via our unique ticketing system and aim to resolve all queries in under 24 hours.
All our interfaces have been built with integration in mind. No JavaScript, Flash or plugins are necessary for using any of our system interfaces. This is to ensure that all levels of users are able to use the interface, whether the end user is using a mini POS with the most basic browser capabilities or a high end development machine.
Webshare Files
We offer a unique service called iBrowser, a custom made web portal to access the FTP. This feature is binded into the same system as the FTP Server itself, so anyone who you have given FTP Access to will be able to use this service.
The same rules apply if you lock them into a directory, make them read only or set upload/download notifications on the user. The section is also customisable, so you can have your own scrolling text and banner on the page! Check out Screenshots for a preview!
You are also able to upload files via iBrowser. Access methods can also be controlled via your iClient interface, so if you want to restrict a user to iBrowser only, you can block them from using the FTP and limit them to just the web portal! Sounding good so far?
Upload/Download Notifications
This is a handy little feature that enables an unlimited amount of email notifications to be sent out when a file is downloaded from a users home directory.
For example, say you have a production company who uploads new product information into the sales team home directories. The sales team would automatically be notified upon any upload/download within their folder.
You can choose between just upload, download or both types of notifications, or none!
In the past, we have enforced strict disc quotas however, this causes too many problems in the long run and can frustrate users that urgently need more space.
So we have replaced this system with a notification system that sends you an email of all the users that have gone over their disc space. These are generated every midnight.
